by Having defeated Apollo Creed and holding the heavyweight title, Rocky successfully defends his title ten times but when tough fighter Clubber Lang comes onto the scene Mickey refuses to help, admitting this guy will "Kill you to death inside of three rounds!". Mickey half-heartedly agrees to go ahead with the fight, but before the fight Mickey is pushed over by Clubber and suffers a stroke. Rocky goes into the fight thinking about his manager and ends up losing the belt, coming back to find Mickey frail and soon dies in his arms Rocky loses all confidence in himself as media reports admit he isn't as hungry as he used to be. But one man had belief, and that man was Apollo Creed. After a sluggish start Rocky eventually gets his act together after some stern words from his wife Adrian, and Rocky goes into the match against Clubber in top form |
