• Paulie is Rocky's best friend with a big thirst for anything containing alcohol. Paulie becomes Rocky's brother in law after his sister Adrian marries, and he himself becomes friendly with a female robot .Paulie also nearly ruins the Balboa family after losing all their money in Rocky V after making some poor financial decisions.

• Young has also appeared in films such as 'Blood Red' and  'Mickey Blue Eyes'.
