The following verses are printed directly from the King James
Version of the bible. Underneath each verse in italics is my
interpretation of what the verse says, simplified for those of you that
don't like Old English
Deuteronomy 1:21 - "Behold, the Lord thy God hath set up the land
before thee: go up and possess it, as the Lord God of thy fathers hath said
unto thee; fear not, neither be discouraged."
*Although, this is
spoken to the Israelites, it can also be applied to you today. God
didn't leave Israel to fend for itself, He was in charge of their journey
the entire time. God is in control of your life, and He is controlling
it. You are just a piece in His Plan. Do not be discouraged.
If God can lead an entire nation to its promised land, He can lead you in
your daily struggles, too.*
Psalm 77:1 - "I
cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear
unto me."
*I cried out to God, the one who created me, and
he listened to me.*
