The following verses are printed directly from the King James Version of the
bible. Underneath each verse in italics is my interpretation of what the
verse says, simplified for those of you that don't like Old English

Proverbs 11:28 - "He that trusteth in his riches shall fall: but the
righteous shall flourish as a branch."
*The man who trusts his money to provide everything for him will fail
miserably, but those who trust God to provide will flourish.*
Proverbs 15:16 - "Better is little with the fear of the Lord than
great treasure and trouble therewith."
*It is better to have very little earthly treasure and have a reverence
of God than it is to be the richest man on earth if you have a lot of
trouble and reject God.*
Philippians 4:19 - "But my God shall supply all your need according
to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
*God will take care of all your needs, be they monetary or otherwise, but
know that your blessings come from Christ Jesus.*
Hebrews 13:5 - "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be
content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave
thee, nor forsake thee."
*Let your manner of life not be like those who live only to save up their
earthly possessions, and don't always want more than you have. God has
said that He will never leave you or forsake you. Don't worry about
anything, God will provide.*
